Making an evidence-based case for increased resources and attention to LA/PMs

RESPOND materials are designed to make an evidenced-based case for increased resources and attention to LA/PMs. In total, RESPOND produced 30 publications during this reporting period including: three journal articles/e-publications, 14 presentations, three study reports, six tools, two behavior change communication (BCC) materials, and two collaborative publications.  There were 1,542 units of these materials distributed in hard copy, and 608 down loads from the RESPOND website.  The journal articles and e-publications included:

  •  Contraceptive Security: Incomplete Without Long-Acting and Permanent Methods of Family Planning. J Wickstrom & R Jacobstein. Studies in Family Planning (forthcoming as a Commentary in the December 2011 Issue).
  •  Critical Issues in Reproductive Health, Springer Books, ed, Andrzej Kulczinski, Chapter, Fostering Change in Medical Settings: A Holistic Programming Approach to ‘Revitalizing' IUD Use in Kenya. Roy Jacobstein (under peer review process).
